Thinking about joining a gym...

This is my first time i've ever posted in this forum....
Looking for opinions...there are only two gyms around where I live, Nautilus, and AnyTime fitness.
Anyone use either one? Opinions?
I'll say this, Nautilus is attractive to me because it is right down the road from where I live. I just went by there and spoke with one of their desk guys.

How I'm thinking about rockin out my AR15

So a long time ago I got an bushmaster AR-15 flattop with detachable carry handle. It was "post ban" and pretty much the barebones of an AR-15.
Now I wanna make it cool.
So far I'm thinking I'm going to get a different upper receiver. Probably a noveske 4 rail with flip up rear and front sights. On the top rail I think I am going to put an EOTech holographic site and the EOtech flip up 3x magnifier. The flashhider is going to be an Advanced Armament corp model that's setup for a quick-mount supr...

I'm new to the forum, but I've been following you guys for over a year. Here are my story and some of my thoughts.
If you are contemplating a Nissen fundoplication, think very carefully about how badly you really need it. If your symptoms are well controlled (or just moderately-well controlled) with a PPI (e.g., Nexium, Prilosec, Aciphex, etc.), consider staying on the drugs and foregoing surgery. I am oldinh out as long as possible, saving more money for purchase, but I know at some point I will need a new car(new to me not necassarily new)
I have a '01 Kia optima which has been a GREAT car for me. Its got 122K miles and runs perfect. I have put nothing into it besides maintanance! Its been paid for for a while.
BUT, we have 1 car seat and 1 infant seat in the back and can not put anyone else in back. I can squeeeze there for a very short ride if I had to but I cant even buckle seat bel...

Planning US Road Trip - Need input/opinions!?

Hi fellas,
I am planning to go on a cross country road trip after I graduate in may. This trip will start from Providence, RI, and will go to Cali and back. It will be 3-4 guys and most likely one car. We want to go south (southwest) first and we are not sure which route to take back. We are also trying to figure out some other stuff:
1. Buy a car or rent a car?
2. Drive one way with a rental and fly back? Or drive both ways?
3. Which are the best routes to take?
4. What is a good list of things...

hi all,
First post and new to the site, i was at thruxton today and had a chat to a few people + racers.
Ive recently bought a cbr400 NC23 which currently sits in my garage as a frame and motor.
I bought it as a trackday project and im re-building it over the winter.
my questions firstly are:
What does the need to meet racing requirments?
I know I need an ACU licence so im going to get that sorted over the winter, then hit a few trackdays through next year.

Thinking about running for office

Yes, I'm serious. Im very middle of the road. Fiscal conservative, enviromental liberal, and middle of the road for most other items. But...that's not what I think would allow me to win... when/if I run...I pledge to vote NO for EVERY/ANY bill that has ANY amendments that don't fit the orginal bill...add on spending would always get a NO. ZERO pork. If an item is deserving of expendature, propose it on it's own so that it doesnt get tucked away and sneaks in under another bill. Thoughts?

Opinions on headlamp

I currently have a Cygolite headlamp that has a huge bottle cage battery. It lights up the road really well but I'm wanting to get a headlamp that has a small battery. I've been looking at the NiteRider MiNewt Mini-USB Plus. Do any of you have this and if so, what do you think about it? I would be using it for road riding. Thanks.
