Hey all
Just wondering hat your experience of/opinions are on the education system in South Africa.
I am considering moving my 2 and 4 years old out there and wonder how this is going to affect them long term as when I was there this year a white lad I met (on work experience with a physiotherapist I visited) was telling me he cab't get into Univeristy because of affirmative action. He said something about blacks & females getting priority.
I asked the young man I met if he had considered moving...

South East Asia Travel Tips - I need some!

After planning and saving for about 2 years, BF and I are finally taking our dream vacation in January. We're backpacking around South East Asia for 3 months! We're going to Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. I'm so excited, I think about it every day. However, I've realized there are a ton of things I don't know. This is my first long trip, my first time backpacking in foreign countries, and my first time traveling extensively without my parents (so my first adult trip!)

Thinking about switching RH to LH

Hey All,
I've been into archery now for just at 3 years. I shoot RH in firearms and bow both. I am however left eye dominant. At present I shoot well, but cannot keep both eyes open while shooting bow. With firearms I have adapted well, I track with my left the close it once on target. Shooting clay pigeons helped with this, and not too many rabbits or birds get away.
Archery however, I would like to be able to aim/shoot with both eyes open. I have tried and at best have to squint my left eye if...

Newbie thinking about a Seamaster

Hey everyone. I've been contemplating to purchase of a seamaster for some time now, possibly something like a 2223.80 which i understand is a quartz movement. I would prefer an auto like the 2222.80. I don't know that much about watches and was wondering if there would be any issues with not keeping an auto watch 'wound' i guess you could say. I don't plan on wearing the seamaster everyday, maybe twice a week or so. I also have a Tissot PR50 auto that i wear everyday to work and a Jacques Lemans...

South Lake Tahoe resorts?

I am a recent transplant to California and was hoping I could get some opinions on resorts in SLT. I skied Heavenly a couple years back but snow conditions were awful so I don't feel I could make a fair judgement. What about Kirkwood?
I know both have good season pass deals, so any help to make my decision easier would be appreciated!
