1. Bridge Tolls on bikes   (07 Nov 2008)
Am I missing something? I don't live in an area where there is bridge tolls, but last time I traveled on my bike I crossed a bridge that had a toll. Of course I'm in full leathers, gloves, and my wallet is in my tailbag. I go through the regular line with the cars and I figured I'd just get the green light to continue on, but nope. I had to take off my gloves, get off my bike, get my wallet out and pay. Then get redressed and carry on. Meanwhile all of the cars in line behind me are getting piss...

i'm having a tremendous struggle with myself right now as i consider whether i can keep up this pace. sorry this is so long winded and rambling. my boys still aren't latching without a nipple shield, and when they do latch with the shield they rarely eat enough to be satisfied because they get sleepy after just a few sucks. i'm here on my own all day with no help and i'm finding it very hard to practice BF with them without help positioning them. plus they get hungry at the same time and i can't...

5. What Do You Think About This?   (23 Oct 2008)
As I was driving home, I slowed down to pay the toll. I was waiting in line with few other cars in front and back of me. Got the money ready and slowly stop at the toll station. The toll station's worker told me that the car before me has already paid for my toll. Confused about that situation. I didn't know any one who drove that car (a black BMW) so why would he pay for my toll fee. I tried to catch up to see who it was but couldn't (maybe the driver was driving to fast). I have thought of man...

6. Would like some opinions...   (04 Nov 2008)
While I must admit I my husband has lost money a lot in the past, I did get frustrated and told him to keep better track. BUT , given the morning you had, very busy, ( I take care of the kids and house, bills, shopping, school too) I understand how easy it is to let that happen. Sometimes I go shopping and forget the 1 or 2 most important things I had to get, so everyone does it at some point or another. He sounds very critical and a little controlling. You know, I bet he is sooo used to you doi...

8. A few ?'s about magnetic blankets   (12 Nov 2008)
I have been thinking about getting Rudy a magnetic blanket but I have a few ?'s first. Since it has gotten colder here in NY he has gotten very stiff and not quite himself. Grumpy to work and just over all stiff through his back. I have him chiro'ed on a regular basis and he is in good health, I just think that being a racehorse for 6 years is taking it toll. Which blanket do you prefer? Is mesh better so he can wear it all year round? But he is fine in summer so maybe a mesh one isn't what he n...
