I see people wearing badges stating "I voted", and getting swag for having slipped the ballot into the box, thinking to myself "Do they also make badges for people who can tie their shoelaces?".
While people in, say, Denmark make a regular habit of voting (86,6%*), a vastly lower amount of Americans (64%) do so.

Well i know this could well be a controversial subject for some, but lets keep it civil, I for one am quite excited by the election of Barrack Obama, i think it is time for a change, and am optimistic that only good will come of it, i have yet to hear how Obama will consider the fair deal trade that Mccain was a 100 per cent behind for NZ, so am hoping Obama will follow suit.
As for our upcoming elections, the american election may well reflect on voters here , thats for sure, they may also thin...

Something to think about for EVERY American Never would have expected this from Letterman and I don't know why he waited till after the election to say these things.

I guess our chinese govtment would give up europe since they are keeping on talking about human rights and sides with U.S. now. But I am wondering if U.S. next time talking about Taiwan freedom,what the govtment would do? For years,westerners are praising India,now bombay is killing britishmen and americans.It cannot be happen under CCP goverment at any time. If democracy is keeping U.S. safe,CCP is very democracy to westerns. Here chinese are angry about westerners because treating differently....

Opinions on American Cartoons. should they be ommited?

Cartoons like Spongebob Squarepants, Tom and Jerry, Looney Toons and others should be banned for some or most of their explicit contents. I watched these cartoons and most of the time, they're not appropriate to children. Why people allow or create these scenes when they're not that legal to show to the children.
Have you noticed the scenes when you watch cartoons not anime for children? And the fact that most anime are being cencored for american children when the american cartoons have more ex...
