Thinking about a new laptop

Well, my windows install on my MBP is getting thoroughly cramped, so i've been thinking about removing it and getting a new laptop, and just using my MBP for the purpose for which i bought it: Maya
problem is Vista. I don't wanna with vista, and i don't wanna shell out extra for a 64-bit version of XP-pro
so i got to thinking, Linux. I understand that Wine would allow me to use all my windows crap, but without the pain of having an actual windows install.

Hi guys, i'm well aware this is about a non-jap car, but I need a car for business on my company car scheme and am limited to the types of cars I can get.. so am curious as to your opinions :-)
I'm going to be doing about 20,000 miles a year, want something affordable, can't be convertible, and has to have 4 doors .. and the killer- look "business-like"..
This has no rendered the option of me getting an Evo, or anything that's sporty and 4 doors ..
Either way, could be a good way to get me a nic...

People usually pirate stuff that they probably weren't going to buy anyways. So, does it really hurt the industry?
If people didn't have to pirate, they most likely wouldn't waste their money on the item of choice; making it a lose-lose situation technically. Go ahead, take a shot at me. I doubt you'll find a pirate ever actually wanting to buy 20% of what he/she steals...

Opinions needed! I havnt rode in several months and i went to take the bike out today and it spits and sputters when you go to take off. Strange thing is it idols fine. Bad Gas??? carbs dirty?? I put some sea foam in the tank. Will it help?

This is so stupid...some people are comparing these two and also saying LL is not being "productive" enough as ST was Without LL this defense would be gone from good to bad real fast we would probably get beat deep once or twice a game, please look at what landrys asked to do then step back and analyze the situation and put yourself in his spot. Think about th nk about it....now if you were 20-25 yards away from the snap of the ball how often would you think your name would get called in a game....

27 inches of crap in a 25 inch bag

I bought an unused (1995 era) WG monitor a few weeks ago. It was advertised as a 25" and I wanted it for my Golden Tee. When I called the seller I was on the way to pick it up, I found out it was actually a 27. Although its working status was unknown, and I really needed a 25 incher, it was cheap enough that I still took a chance on it.
I didn't have a chance to mess with it until a day or so ago, but on hooking it to my Jamma cab, I found that it has a beautiful picture.
