Just picked up a new MP3 player (Sony Walkman, planning on doing a full review here at some point), I started thinking about Bit Rate when ripping music from CD. Obviously, the higher the bit rate the more space it consumes on your hard drive and whatever device you are putting the music on, but the better the quality. I burned a few songs at the highest bit rate in Windows Media Player (328K KBps), but the file size is huge. I have 8Gig of space on the walkman, so file size is a consideration....
