Create Recovery Partition

Im sorry if this is not the correct subforum to post this but i couldnt find one more relevant...
Now the fact is:
I am formatting my computer several times a year and I would like to shorten the procedure.
What I am thinking about, is formatting my computer, installing all the necessary (for me) components that I install each time
and copy the main C: partition to another new one (for example Z:) which I will use everytime I want to format.
For instance, I would like to boot from a cd or floppy...

Easeus Partition Manager Home Edition

Hi. I found Easeus Partition Manager Home Edition through this forum's freeware collection forum. I downloaded and installed it. I want to resize a couple partitions, but before I do that, I thought I'd ask for opinions.
Anybody have any experience with this software they'd like to share? Just want to see if I can get a little more information on it before I use it. Don't worry about reminding me to backup, I'll be doing some backing up before I run it.

External partition file system??

I currently have an external USB hard disk which is currently formatted to fat32. Now some of the folders on this drive are shared with windows PC's (XP and Vista) as mapped drives. Now I am thinking about changing the file system to either ext3 or ntfs
Now I would like the windows boxes to be able to write (as well as read) to the folders so would I have any problems if I formated the drive to ext3 or would it have to be ntfs??

Moving to latest Ghost - Primary drive partition/backup strategy question...

I am finally building a new PC to replace an XP workhorse that has reliably been backed up with Ghost 2003.
I will be on Vista and will go with the latest Ghost.
Here is the question. I will have 3 large hard drives. I have read and know all about the various (and conflicting) parition recommendations. But I want to choose the best for backup.
Right now I have one physical and logical drive C that I back the heck up out of with Ghost and in addition fille-by-file backups for documents.

Question about multiple partitions

I understand how a single partition on a single drive works however I am thinking about attempting to put multiple partitions on a single drive, and am trying to figure out if it is worth my time.
Before anyone tells me it isn't worth the hassle the only reason I am attempting this is because I just had to format my main drive anyway.

Temporary wall partitions?

Since DH's grandmother passed away and her house was sold, all the family who normally stayed at her house during the holidays will be converging into our house and BIL's. Trouble is, we don't really have a guest room. The rare and few people who stay with us either sleep on the couch, or sleep on the extra bed we have in the open loft area.
I'm trying to figure out if there is an inexpensive, easy way to create a temporary room partition of sorts so that guests could have a little more privacy...

Opinions on Server and Home Computer Install

As you can tell from my posts and my sig, I have become a Fedora user, and have really enjoyed it, but I looking for some opinions.
First New Home Server:
- I have the opportunity to change some things around.
- I have been using and love my FreeNAS box as my home file server.
- I have had a couple of unexplainable issues with my FreeNAS box.
- My newest Linux Distro installs on other computers can use the Samba shares cleanly, and I don't know way. They will connect, but can't move files to it...

NOTE: This is a continuation of some of the OT (for that post, anyway) information found toward the end of my previous thread "A few questions about RAID."
So the only partitions I'll definitely have arewindows vista OS windows xp OS Fedora "/" with the possible exception of /windows Blank space equal in size to Fedora "/" for upgrades/betas Musix (tentative)
