Hi folks,
This is my first post here, but I have been lurking and searching for a while.
I am looking to buy a 1911. I have some experience with 1911s. A friend of mine has a couple of them. He new I liked guns so he invited me over to shoot steel plates this fall and I was instantly hooked. He let me shoot an older Springfield Mil-Spec slightly upgraded. I had never given 1911s a chance until then. Now I want one BAD
I have been looking for one for a while now. $700 was my absolute max budget....

Am thinking about the KidKraft retro red - any reviews?

It's wood.
It's retro, but not the PBK price.
It's red, not pastel, so will fit in my neutral-with-red kitchen.
But alas, still doesn't have the bells and whistles of the Step 2 deluxe. Also, is it too small for some kids? Seems I read that the Costco KidKraft (which I'm assuming is this one) was short. My DD is almost 21 months and I'd like her to play with it for a long time.
Please advise! I live in...

Need reviews/opinions on DS games for kids!?

I'm buying my 5 year old son a Nintendo DS for Christmas. (He turns 6 a week after Christmas.) I'm thinking about getting him the following games:
Spore Creatures, Diddy Kong Racing, Lego Indiana Jones, and Mario Kart. There are also a couple versions of Sonic, Spongebob, and Pokemon games that looked cute.
Would you recommend these for an almost-6 year old boy? He has very basic reading skills, so I don't know how advanced these games would be for him, if they have on-screen directions, or if t...

Music Reviews Revamp - Your Opinions Needed!

OK, this forum was dying a slow, painful death and we need to do something about it. So, I'll say what I think and I think everyone should do the same.
Firstly, I think Music Review Requests should be on one thread which gets stickied. I think the forum would be more useful if it was filled with reviews, rather than requests and the other crap which is clogging it at the moment.

We were at WDW from 9/3 to 9/11 and we enjoyed just about every single bite of the free dining plan!
Cast of characters:
Me (39--honest!)
Ds (12 and has a man-sized appetite)
Dd (turned 10 a couple of days before our trip and still thinks that there are only 2 main food groups, mac & cheese and chicken nuggets).
Dh did not travel with this for this trip, but he was missed and will be joining us next time!

Thinking About Taking Creatine?

I've been thinking about this for awhile but dont really have a direction to go in.I wannna increase size and stregth. I've heard mixed reviews on what it can and will do for you. Just to give you alittle backround i train boxing and mma and i do weight lifting what would be the best creatine to work around that. Someone told me pill form would be better then powder but im not sure anyone?

I have a 4870X2 and a P5Q Dlx, just to show that i currently cant use SLI
With the newest drivers, the GTX260 is beating 4870(X1) by a good margin, so i'm thinking about trading my 4870X2 for a gtx260 or 2, but then again i wouldn't have SLI, so i need other Mobo or core i7/ evga x58 upgrade. What do i do?
