All right, I wanted to get your opinions on this and see if I have a chance of fighting this in court. I got a speeding ticket on Highway 66 going from Evansville going into nearby Chandler. This is a four-lane highway. When you get out of Evansville the speed limit is 60. Right before you get to the Chandler city limit it drops to 50, a tenth of a mile, 45. I bought an old car a few weeks back with 210,000 on the clock and I dont know if its had its timing belt done at 200,000 - so I have been driving around like an old man very slowly until I can get it done.
So im rolling around at 51kph in a 60 zone - except its school time, so I get busted for doing 11kph over
Its funny I was thinking about all the talk about ABS and traction control and how these things are good but more importantly we should train and become better riders, its all about build...

It all depends on the person. There are reasons that some people fuck on the first night and others wait years. There are reasons some people get married after knowing someone 2 weeks (a friend of mine who's now been married like 6 years) and others who date for 9 years before getting married (also another friend of mine). Go at the speed you feel comfortable at, since that's the only speed that matters.

Haven't seen any posts about the Pontiac G8, so I guess I'll post something here. I'm kinda looking for a new car. My coupe only has 50k miles and is problem free but I'm thinking of getting something else for fun and keeping the benz as a beater. I was looking at used Z4s, m3s, new miatas. I like to roadsters because they're supposedly "tossable" but in the short drives I've had with them, they just seem like a faster c230. I'm sure they handle better when really pushed. For some people in the Subaru community the idea of tuning their ECU is an easy concept... For the other 98% it's a pretty scary thought.
When I bought my first Suby I was scared to death to throw a basic stg1 tune on... many thoughts crossed my mind... like: what if my motor blows up? what if a dealer voids my warranty? what if I fry my ECU?

Caught speeding by a radar gun :(

I'm sure I was caught doing approx 60-65 mph in a 40mph zone. I genuinely thought it was a national speed limit zone, as it is a two lane road and completely unbuilt up. But I later realised that the place i got caught is just before the 60pmh zone.
